Your efforts will directly support individuals in achieving independence, self-sufficiency, and community inclusion through meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities:
- With guidance from the Supported Employment Director, manage, nurture and grow employment services in your identified geographic area
- Identify, train, mentor and supervise a team of Job Coaches and Employment Specialists to ensure successful individualized, community-based placements; support team member growth and development; address areas of performance concern in coordination with Supported Employment Director
- Manage your team’s workflow, from scheduling and back up coverage to progress notes and meeting billing requirements and deadlines; cover direct support when short, as needed
- Represent the agency in applicable local stakeholder meetings
- Collaborate with and respond quickly to internal and external stakeholder requests for Supported Employment services
- Represent and/or ensure representation and appropriate participation of the organization’s supported employment service in applicable ISP, IPE and IEP meetings
- Market services to local businesses, consumers, county and vocational rehabilitation offices in your program’s geographic area
- Participate in interdepartmental leadership meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in supported employment or a comparable field/position that is IDD specific
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership role
- Supported Employment certifications such as EOP II, Highline, VCU, APSE, etc. preferred.
- Must be able to pass a level 2 criminal background check
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, stand and sit for (sometimes) a long period of time
Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time position with shifts that may include evenings and/or weekends. CAS strives to create schedules that meet both the needs of our staff and the individuals we support.
- Competitive Pay: $52,000-$56,000, recognizing your commitment and contributions.
