Videographer - Must live in the New York area
COMPLETE Weddings Events, a National leading provider of Event and Wedding Photography, Videography, Lighting, DJ, and Photo Booth. We perform at thousands of events annually nationwide. Currently Complete Weddings Events in the New York City area is hiring videographers.
Job Overview:
As an Event Videographer, you will be responsible for capturing and producing compelling videos for various live events, including [corporate events, weddings, conferences, concerts, etc.]. You will work closely with clients and the event production team to ensure that every event is documented in a creative, professional, and engaging way. From setup to post-production, your role will be pivotal in delivering polished videos that capture the essence of each event. Complete Videographers send in their raw footage for our post production team for editing – making it easier for you to put your primary focus on shooting the event!
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio of event videos.
- Strong understanding of videography principles, including composition, lighting, and audio.
- Experience with professional video equipment (cameras, lenses, gimbals, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to capture both big moments and subtle details.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with clients, vendors, and event teams.
- Drone experience and certification
- Day of event content creation
Minimal Equipment Requirements:
Body
Minimum resolution and FPS standard – 1080p and 60 fps; anything above is a benefit but not
less. Camera body should provide high quality images both outdoors in a bright light and
indoors in a low light. If your video camera is not from this LIST, we won't accept it.
Lenses
One prime zoom lens (24-70mm), and one portrait lens with f2.8-1.4 for detail shots and
beautiful DOF effect on closeups.
Stabilization
We require stabilization for acceptable video recording. To achieve that, you need to
have a gimbal or other similar stabilization equipment (such as a Zhiyun Crane, Ronin
S…etc.).
Audio
Minimum 2 lav microphones and an audio recorder to capture audio. Camera audio is only
considered as a backup and will not be used in the final product. You will need a recording
device.
