Community Health Nurse

Duties

The incumbent will perform the following duties for all patients, regardless medical history, age, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender in a clinical setting:

Collect and record routine health data, including vital signs, on assigned clients along with administering state required immunizations

Record routine data and care provided on appropriate documents in the EHR;

Adhere to local, State, and federal guidelines and regulations regarding client confidentiality and privacy rights

Comply with all local, State, and federal guidelines and regulations governing registered nursing practice

Must be able to use a computer proficiently (i.e., Microsoft, EHR, Internet, etc.)

Able to register and schedule clients according to guidelines given in training;

Attend all assigned trainings, seminars and conferences;

Contributing member in a multidisciplinary treatment team

Must be flexible and able to travel between sites if required

Certifications

RN licensure in the State of Maryland is required
