This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department. Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work may vary but are generally Monday through Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Shift time and total hours worked may be adjusted/vary due to work demand and seasonal requirements. Overtime is mandatory when needed.TravelTravel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or five years of plant/general management experience in a concrete or construction environment.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
The candidate must have effective communication skills in the English language in both written and verbal forms. Certificates/Licenses/RegistrationsA current, unrestricted, California Class B license with tanker and airbrake endorsements.
