Job Description
Senior HR Advisor
Contract: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Start date: Immediate
Location: Hybrid with travel twice a week to either Reading or Poole
Salary: £35k - £40k per annum
The Role
The Senior HR Advisor contributes to the efficient running of the HR function, through providing accurate and timely HR advice to managers and employees, coaching the business on best practice people management and legislation.
The Senior HR Advisor will support the HR Manager with implementation and running of HR Projects and global HR initiatives as well as ensuring we have the correct processes in place to comply with HR Policy, Compliance and Governance.
Duties/Key activities
- Support the Operations Managers with HR related subjects, line manager training, coaching, assist and advise in HR Meetings
- Work with our delivery teams on onboarding and offboarding of employees, including contracts and offers, inductions, changes to terms and conditions, transfers, exit interviews
- Support HR Manager and HR Advisors with ER Relations and Policy Administration
- Assists the HR Manager with the TUPE Process as required
- Looks for innovative ways to report and improve employee retention Programmes
- Assists in the renewal and communication of Employee Benefits package
- Ad hoc HR tasks and general administration which falls within the remit of this role
Competencies
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in HR
- Graduate with a HR Discipline as a subject area
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise own work load to ensure tight deadlines are met
- Good knowledge and experience of MS Office packages e.g. Office 360, word, excel and powerpoint, including creating and formatting documents in these formats
- Full knowledge of UK Employment Law
- Experience of conducting Redundancy and TUPE is essential
