Director of Member Engagement and Services
A Southwest Florida Premier private country club. High level of service with a priority of member engagement.
Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, this position’s key focus is to drive membership engagement with the Club by developing and implementing key experience and retention programs. This will require collaboration and partnership with other departments.

Job Tasks/Duties
· Offer dedicated service to every aspect of the membership experience, including new member onboarding, post-onboarding, and consistent, positive interaction throughout the membership.
· Serves as a viable and present liaison between the Club and its members, including frequent attendance to club events, ensuring that new and existing members consistently and actively engage with the club.
· Regularly update members regarding activities, improvements, and charges via the club's website, newsletter, or other appropriate media.
· Managers administrative requirements and logistics by developing and adhering to contracts/applications.; work with operation on member programming, member communication, and value-added member benefits
· Leads member recognition and experience programs, including Birthdays and Anniversary Recognition. Implement other programs to ensure member engagement and retention.
· Collaborate with the Club Events Team to ensure the club event schedule is balanced and reaches all members’ interests.
· Leads the staff portion of membership committee participation by guiding the committee to key objectives and assisting members with initiatives.
· Participates in and prepares materials for Membership Committee Meetings.
· Maintain the club’s records regarding membership.
· Participate in membership-related activities, including but not limited to managing past member recruitment and communication efforts, communicating feedback to promote continually on lead campaigns, and guiding customized tours with prospective members.
· Gets involved in local organizations to promote community relations to the club.
· As requested by the assistant general manager, additional job functions may be required based on the club and team's business needs.
Intellectual Demands:
· A four-year college degree is preferred, as well as two to five years of related experience in sales and membership sales, preferably in the hospitality/service industry, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
· Previous experience in membership required
· Proficient in computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM, and Jonas.
· Solid time management, organization, and focus on customer satisfaction are required.
· Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster in a team environment.
