As Vice President of Litigation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing case management and leading our team to new heights. Your leadership will ensure that our attorneys are equipped with the tools, support, and motivation needed to provide exceptional legal representation to our clients.
Duties Include:
- Strategic Oversight: Guide and support attorneys in developing cutting-edge case strategies and managing complex litigation with precision.
- Expert Management: Supervise the drafting of pleadings, motions, briefs, and other key legal documents, ensuring top-notch quality and accuracy.
- Compliance Leadership: Oversee the legal compliance department, continuously reviewing and enhancing policies to maintain rigorous adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Case File Mastery: Manage and organize case files, legal documents, and correspondence, optimizing both physical and electronic document systems for efficiency.
- E-Discovery Excellence: Lead the e-discovery and document production process, handling the collection, review, and production of both electronic and hard copy documents seamlessly.
- Witness Preparation: Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial testimony through comprehensive mock interviews and detailed preparation materials.
- Analytical Insight: Analyze and distill complex legal and factual issues into clear, compelling briefs, pleadings, and legal documents.
- Tech Innovation: Develop and implement advanced litigation support tools and technologies, including case management software and document review platforms.
- Training and Support: Provide essential training and guidance to attorneys and legal professionals on best practices in litigation management and e-discovery.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in Law.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required.
- Licensure: Active license to practice law or membership preferred.
Skills:
- Extensive experience as first and second chair in trials, with substantial deposition and mediation experience.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Exceptional writing skills with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, persuasive legal briefs and documents.
- Superior verbal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
