Full Time Grinder Operator Job Description

The Grinder Operator is responsible for operating a variety of grinding machines to grind and polish metal parts to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating grinders and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of grinding machines to grind and polish metal parts to specifications
• Inspect parts for defects and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain the grinders and other equipment in good working order
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Follow all safety procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience operating grinders
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
• Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
