Connect Staffing is looking for an eager Machine Operator to join a leading mattress manufacturing company in Waco, TX!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm or 5:00pm (Occasional OT)
Machine Operator Requirements
- Must have at least 6 months of recent machine operating experience
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to use different machinery
- Prior experience in roles such as a Production Operator, CNC Machinist, Maintenance Technician, or Press Operator is a plus!

Machine Operator Responsibilites
- Set up and operate machines that cut foam blocks into specific shapes and sizes for mattress production.
- Ensure the smooth operation of machinery, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Verify the quality and consistency of foam materials before and during the cutting process, ensuring they meet required specifications.
- Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, pressure, temperature) to accommodate different foam types or product requirements.
- Identify and resolve any operational issues or malfunctions with machines to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished foam products for defects, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards before they are used in mattress production.
