What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasonic Testing Inspector 2 position at Construction Services LLC?
Wages:
$36.00 Per Hour
$120.00 Per Diem offered, if eligible
Requirements:
Must have documented qualifications/certification to the Level II requirements for ASNT’s SNT-TC-1A, 2016 Edition.
Level II UT inspectors shall be previously certified to perform volumetric butt, corner and tee weld UT inspections.
Must have passed written general theory and procedure specific examinations for UT inspection of butt, corner and tee welds.
Must have certification documentation (for the current and preceding 3-year certification period) containing training and experience records, results of all examinations, and a record of vision test.
Must provide evidence that inspections have been performed in the applicable method(s) within the past 9 months.
Inspectors will be assigned to a shop environment performing UT inspections on structural welds.
Must pass general, specific and practical exams administered to prove proficiency.
