The Field Superintendent will ensure high-quality results through the supervision of contractors and suppliers related to field construction. They will ensure the maintenance of a safe work environment, conduct safety inspections; and ensure quality workmanship in accordance to project approval documents. The Field Superintendent will communicate regularly with REO Agents, Inspection companies, Contractors, and Asset managers to manage the renovation of a portfolio of REO assets from start to finish. The Field Superintendent will communicate and respond to both internal and external client inquiries promptly and accurately. The Field Superintendent will also need to perform job estimates while on-site, in the field, for potential new acquisitions. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure a high level of execution in meeting the requirements and strict procedures associated with Client expectations.
This role is a Contract opportunity.
What you will do for Constructive:
- Procuring and monitoring inspections to ensure turn times are met or exceeded per company policy
- Updating software system with latest communication
- Sources and facilitates quality control inspections per company policy
- Providing outstanding customer service to clients and outside vendors by practicing self-direction, tact, and diplomacy in a clear, courteous, and professional manner
- Coordinating all required actions, inside and outside of the department, in order to meet previously set goals
- Approving completed work orders for billing
- Sources and recruits qualified contractors
- Trains new specialist as needed
- Travel required
What you will bring to Constructive:
- 5 years of relevant experience in remodeling, REO management or construction management, and real estate and construction management
- Goal-orientated and resourceful
- Proactive with effective follow-up skills
- Effective/persuasive communication and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail; highly organized
- Able to multi-task and prioritize
- Team player, Customer service oriented
- High school diploma/GED required; some college preferred
- Client relations/support experience is preferred and construction knowledge is a must REO construction management is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and a positive and team-oriented attitude are a must
- Excellent computer skills (Including, but not limited to proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook, finding information via the web, as well as telephone protocol. Salesforce experience a plus)
