What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Continental Realty Corporation?
Hiring Maintenance Techs in Charlotte at 1010 Dilworth Apartments (184 units) and Park and Kingston Apartments (168 units). Strong teams in place already, just need experienced Techs with positive attitudes. We own and operate 10 communities in NC, 10,000 total units in 11 states, and we invest in the long-term. $750 rent discount per month if you live onsite at this community or a "sister" community sharing on-call, affordable health insurance and bonus potential.
Responsibilities:
- Walking the community to identify any potential issues.
- Troubleshooting basic technical problems, including preventative maintenance on systems.
- Resolving any basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, appliance repair and HVAC service requests.
- Communicating clearly with residents and your coworkers.
- Completing apartment turnovers/punch-outs.
- Inspecting apartments for a final walk through and move-in.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years exp in building maintenance preferred.
- EPA certification strongly preferred.
- Your own basic hand tools and reliable transportation.
- Ability to participate in the on-call emergency rotation.
