What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN Intake Coordinator position at Conway Regional?
The LPN Intake Coordinator is responsible for facilitating admissions to the Restore Medical Detoxification and Reclaim Adult Psychiatric Unit by obtaining pertinent patient history regarding admission criteria. The LPN Provides administrative duties as needed within the behavioral health departments. The LPN is accountable for the provision of care as delegated and will practice within the scope of the Nurse practice Act of the State of Arkansas and the policies, procedures, and standards of Conway Regional Medical Center. The LPN will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through effective collaboration efforts within the Conway Regional Health System and referral sources.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION:
This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse with current, active license to practice In Arkansas, required
- One year (1) of nursing experience, preferred
- Basic computer skills, required
