This key role will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition partners and creating recruiting strategies to attract top talent for the entire company including our Corporate, Venue, and Intern program. Our Corporate team will be growing in Engineering, Product Management, HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Strategy, and Planning & Operations, etc. This role will also be responsible for the overall recruiting strategy for our Venue team which includes Venue Operations Leadership, Food & Beverage, Security, and Culinary.

Summary

- Overall responsibility for the recruiting strategy and hiring for all of Cosm. We have a team-oriented culture, focused on quality of hire, and clear and consistent communication throughout the recruiting process.
- Provide hands-on leadership for the Talent Acquisition team. This is a high-touch position that requires constant communication and guidance for our team of recruiters for their professional development and on-going support of our business.
- Streamline the hiring process to enhance efficiency and quality of hire. Create, propose, and implement new recruiting processes and strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage and recruit for high priority and senior level positions. Must be willing to carry a requisition load, when needed.
- Build relationships with hiring managers to ensure we are delivering high quality recruiting experiences and identifying top talent, prioritizing quality of hire over time to hire.
- Partner closely with other HR team members including Compensation, HRIS, and HR Business Partners to ensure we are aligned in each of these key areas as we recruit our Talent.
- Partner with Marketing to create and implement innovative employer branding strategies.
- Ensure data integrity in the hiring process including position management, manage unique requisition identification numbers, internal and external equity for salaries, etc.
- Identify college partnerships, employee groups, recruiting events, tools, and job boards, etc. to optimize our recruiting efforts and drive diversity initiatives.
- Oversee external agency relationships as necessary, including contract negotiations and management.
- Utilize data to track recruiting metrics, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies.
- Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA is a plus.
- 10-14 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably for hyper growth organizations (hiring over 500 positions per year). Experience recruiting for Technical and high-volume Food & Beverage roles in High-Technology, Entertainment, Venue and Restaurant industries a huge plus!
- Hands on leader with a deep understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems and proven history of implementing and levering the ATS to drive recruiting efficiency, improve the candidate experience, etc.
- Experience building and managing high-performing teams, including setting goals, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Deep understanding of recruiting best practices, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes.
- Strong working knowledge in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS Systems required. Experience with Ceridian Dayforce (HRIS & ATS), a plus.
- Proven experience creating and implementing new processes from scratch to drive efficiency, while not slowing down business progress.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand the company’s goals and translate them into actionable talent acquisition plans.
- Proven experience building and maintaining strong relationships with senior executives, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Must have a customer service-oriented mindset focused on clear and consistent communication both internally and externally.
- Must be action-oriented, comfortable working at both strategic and tactical levels. This role must be willing to “roll-up their sleeves” to get things done.
- Proactive and demonstrated ability to work effectively with a sense of urgency, professionalism, high integrity, team player, thoughtful judgment, and a willingness to bring issues to light in an appropriate manner.
- Willing to work in the office in Los Angeles, CA area (Playa Vista & Inglewood) or Dallas, TX area (Plano, TX & The Colony) on a hybrid basis 3-4 times per week. This is not a 100% work from home position but does have flexibility based on business needs.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, especially when new Venues are opening.
