DESCRIPTION
The Demand Planning Analyst will play a key role in long-term demand planning and the continuous synchronization between sales, category management and forecasted market demand. The analyst will partner with the sales and category management teams to help gather data and transfer information from the day-to-day operations into the demand plan. The analyst will also have a large role in preparing for and leading the monthly commercial alignment meetings.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and maintain an effective long-term forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns
· Partner with internal cross-functional teams such as Sales and Category Management to identify discrepancies and adjust the plan as needed
· Lead the pre-alignment and commercial alignment meetings, prepare and present analysis
· Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
· Manage changes in the demand plan using the in-house repository tool
· Assist in funneling Risk, Issues, and Opportunities to the executive team
· Maintain and keep track of changes using a Smartsheet
· Contribute to continuous enhancement in the long-term demand planning process
· Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, identify issues and provide recommendations for improvement
· Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIERED
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
