Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure that all linens and garments are impeccably cleaned and presented. This position is essential in providing our guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness in laundry facilities and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding cleanliness standards and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably within a hotel setting.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques, including the use of commercial washing machines and dryers.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain VERY high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
