We are seeking a Staining Specialist to join our team—someone responsible for applying wood stain to a customer's specifications.
Staining Specialist
The Staining Specialist is responsible for applying wood stain to a customer’s specifications. The Staining Specialist works as part of a team to create a quality product and maintains a customer satisfaction mindset.
Primary Duties:
- Apply wood stain to units by dipping in the stain tank.
- Load freshly stained units onto carts for drying and back brushing to avoid blemishes and color runs.
- Make sure the stain color matches the appropriate unit.
- Use safe lifting and lowering techniques as the units are moved from cart to stain tank and then to the drying cart.
Housekeeping:
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area for the team.
- Keep work area clean by emptying stain tank, putting saw dust on stain spills, sweeping up piles of saw dust and removing debris as needed.
Additional Duties:
- Other shop projects as assigned.

- Capable of lifting & lowering up to 100 lbs.
Education and/or Experience:
- Painting and/or wood staining experience a plus
- Forklift certification a plus
