The Cowlitz County Parks and Recreation department is in need of a Camp Host for Harry Gardner Park in Toutle, WA.
This is a volunteer opportunity. In exchange for helping around the park, successful candidates will be provided with a rent-free RV site with full hookups; power, water, sewer, and garbage services.
Harry Gardner Park is a 65-acre park located on the South Toutle River in Toutle, WA. It is 1 mile from Spirit Lake Highway, which leads to the many tourist attractions on Mt. St. Helens. The park offers camping & RV facilities, hiking trails, playground equipment, and easy access to the South Toutle River for fishing and swimming.The successful candidate will be responsible for checking in campers, assisting with the reservation system, cleaning the bathrooms, and other light landscaping duties around the park.Applicants must pass a background check and be at least 18 years of age. The applicant must be outgoing, courteous, and helpful to all park visitors. The applicant must provide their own functional recreational vehicle for living accommodations. Tents are not allowed by the campground host.
