St. Joseph Country Club is currently seeking a full-time Front of House Manager .
Job Summary: The Front of House Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the FOH functions in the restaurants and banquets, including appearance, presentation, customer experience and professional leadership and direction to employees.
Job Duties:
- Prepare weekly front of house schedule
- Ensures opening and closing check list have been completed daily
- Sets excellent customer service, hospitality, and work examples.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the entire menu and preparation.
- Ensures all staff are in proper uniform
- Ensure excellent customer service and member satisfaction
- Train and supervise front of house staff, including bartenders, servers, and runners.
- Manage inventory and order beverages and supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery of orders
- Handle complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols and health regulations
- Create and update schedules for front of house staff
- Assist with interviewing and hiring new team members
Skills/Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of previous club or restaurant management experience
- Knowledge of the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate & inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills & ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Basic Computer Skills featuring Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Basic knowledge of all current local health department guidelines
- Strong supervisory skills
Experience Requirements:
- Two (2) years previous restaurant experience
- Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- A person of exceptional character; motivated, energetic, friendly, and dedicated to the profession.
