Our philosophy at the Central Regional Education Association Extended School Program (CREA/ESP) is to provide a safe and caring environment for children to further their educational growth and success. Students enrolled in ESP after-school will participate in 65% academic learning each day. Activities will include, but are not limited to, reading/science/math enrichment, additional tutoring, homework help and indoor/outdoor recreation.
Job Description:
The Assistant Site Coordinator will assist in leading program implementation and execution to ensure all stakeholders have an exceptional experience. The Site Coordinator is responsible for developing, maintaining and sustaining effective relationships with key site contacts including principals and school staff in order to ensure successful program implementation and site engagement for the Extended School Program. The Site Coordinator will facilitate the site's programming and cultivate relationships with Youth Leaders, parents, students and families. The Site Coordinator provides Youth Leaders the necessary training, coaching and technical support to ensure successful implementation of Extended School Program grant requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Work directly with ESP Directors to meet program goals; attend all monthly program meetings; uphold program policies; complete grant required documentation.
- Assure staffing needs are met; recruit, hire, train and evaluate Youth Leaders, maintain clear expectations for staff; provide onsite training; uphold ESP program policies.
- Ensure site safety and follow established ESP protocols.
- Provide student and family support.
- Promote the ESP program in a positive and professional manner.
- Visit classrooms, learn homework, communicate and collaborate with school staff to meet the academic and behavioral needs of ESP students.
- Work independently to ensure your site runs efficiently.
- Be prepared to step into a Youth Leader role when short staffing occurs.
*Required* Program Hours: 7a-8a, 2:30p-6p
Wage: $16-$20/hour
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

- Minot, ND: Relocate before starting work (Required)
