Will handle routine student discipline and attendance (Grades K-12). Will act on behalf of the Principal when they are not in the building. Will conduct OSCES/OTES evaluations
Will teach required and elective courses in ELA, Special emphasis will be placed on: Increasing student performance on the ACT, Ohio's End of Course Exams, and preparing students for college composition courses by teaching argumentative and expository writing

Will lead school improvement efforts at the elementary level with the goals of establishing a culture of staff and student accountability, improving student achievement in the core areas of reading, writing, and mathematics, and increasing parent and community involvement
