What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Engineer position at Critical Business Analysis, Inc?
CBA has an immediate need for multiple full-time Project Engineers with a minimum of 6 months experience in the construction industry located in the NW Ohio or SE Michigan area. The PE will be responsible for project document control, procurement of labor, materials and equipment, and planning and implementation of project activities. The position will assist with providing estimates, contract administration, and managing project cost controls to ensure project accuracy and quality.

- Manage document control including submittals, methods statements, safety reports, drawing logs, associated tracking processes, and developing estimates.
- Complete meeting minutes and updates.
- Responsible for procurement of labor, materials, and equipment.
- Project planning and implementation of activities and coordinating with subcontractors.
- Responsible for providing estimates, contract administration, and managing project cost controls.
- Travel to local jobsites as required by the project managers and superintendents.
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Minimum 6 months experience in the Construction industry and Demonstrated knowledge of blueprints and construction specifications .
- Candidates local to the NW Ohio or SE Michigan area strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Effective working in a group Project Controls environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing and able to travel via commercial airlines and personal vehicles.
- Must be approved to work in the United States.
- Ability to read and write fluently in English.
