Job Description: Direct Care Worker
SUMMARY : This is a caretaker position that focuses on helping developmentally disabled adults become the best person they can possibly be in their home and community. You will be teaching them daily living skills, transporting them to appointments, distributing medications, assuring their health and safety and helping keep a clean home where they live.
Bonus: $250.00 Bonus after 90 days of employment *with stipulations*
Current shifts needed:
1. Friday 3pm-11pm and Saturday & Sunday 8am-8pm
2. On - call position
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 19 years of age plus High School diploma or GED.
Knowledge of or skills applicable to working with the developmentally disabled
population.
Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal directions.
Ability to work as a team member, with minimal supervision.
You must have an AZ Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Strength, flexibility and compassionate personality required to aid members of group home in daily living skills and all required activities.
Background check will be on all applicants and must come back clean.
Fingerprint card is a requirement for this job.
Crossing Paths will pay for all of your training, including: First Aid/CPR, Article 9 and Prevention and Support *with stipulations*
STARTING RATE OF PAY: $13.50 -$14.00 DOE
