PRP County Manager

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program Manager to join our team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our psychiatric rehabilitation program and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the daily operations of our psychiatric rehabilitation program

- Develop and implement treatment plans for clients with mental health conditions

- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of rehabilitation professionals

- Monitor the progress of clients and adjust treatment plans as necessary

- Ensure that all program policies and procedures are followed

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients

Requirements:

- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in psychiatric rehabilitation with BA or 3 years with AA

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

- Knowledge of mental health conditions and treatment options

- Ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: AA or BA in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work or related field. Minimum 1 year (with BA) or 3 years (with AA) positively referenced experience in the field. Supervisory experience strongly preferred. Must be or agree to become a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner through the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA) within 2 years.

SCHEDULE: Flexible based on consumer and program needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Mental health and/or psychiatric rehabilitation experience sufficient to understand consumer and program needs.
• Interpersonal skills sufficient to establish productive working relationships.
• Leadership skills sufficient to direct a team and implement quality programming.
• Understanding of safety requirements and the ability to manage the environment in an emergency.
• Read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with others and maintain documentation and perform other record keeping tasks in accordance with agency and accreditation standards.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Computer skills sufficient to enter required data and documentation and to generate reports.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds.
• Pass the agency’s background check.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record to support insurability by the agency’s insurance carrier.
• Work related use of a vehicle carrying minimum of 100/300/50 liability insurance.
• Possession of CPR/First Aid certification.
