About The Job

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will utilize your strong technical skills in structural analysis and design to lead the development of complex structural systems. You will also leverage your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and clients. Your ability to mentor and guide junior engineers will be crucial in ensuring their professional growth and development. Additionally, your experience with structural analysis software and design codes will enable you to provide technical guidance and support to the team. Finally, your experience with project management will be beneficial in ensuring successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of complex structural systems, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure successful project completion
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring their professional growth and development
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and identify potential issues
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specification
  
  

Qualifications/Competencies

• 5 years of experience in structural engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis software and design codes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experience in the Business Services industry
• Experience with BIM software
• Experience with seismic design and analysis
• Experience with project management
• Specialization in materials engineering, structural engineering, or construction engineering is plus
