Responsibilities
- Learn the trade by assisting and supporting senior shop leads as directed.
- Help prepare surfaces and materials for painting and sandblasting, guided by experienced team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly and work areas are safe.
- Operate basic equipment under supervision to develop essential hands-on skills.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and uphold quality standards.
Skills
- Punctuality and reliability; showing up on time with a positive attitude.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a demanding environment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to pass a drug test, including hair follicle testing, through DISA.
- Basic familiarity with tools and machinery is a plus, with training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating clear and effective communication.
- Commitment to safety guidelines in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 84 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental Pay:
- Overtime pay
