Role and Responsibilities :
We are a growing and innovative indoor farm committed to producing high-quality, sustainable produce in a controlled indoor environment. We are looking for a motivated Indoor Farm Crew Lead to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the daily farm operations, including planting, harvesting, and training staff, while helping support individuals with disabilities in the workplace.All members of the team are required to uphold the mission and values and conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism.Assist in the planting, weed control, pest control, fertilization, irrigation, and monitoring of farm processes.Support daily harvest tasks, ensuring that staff is following the correct procedures and meeting production goals.Help with packaging and ensure that all harvested products are prepared for timely delivery.Assist in maintaining efficient farm operations by ensuring processes are followed and quality standards are met.Assist in training the crew that may primarily consist of adults with disabilities.Offer guidance and support to staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.Provide coaching and behavioral supports tailored to individual needs to help employees succeed in their roles.Help foster positive relationships between employees and co-workers, encouraging teamwork and cooperation.Provide feedback to the crew to improve performance and meet farm goals.Assist in ensuring that safety protocols are followed by crew members.Support the team in adhering to food safety protocols and other relevant regulations.Assist in monitoring the work environment to ensure safe and healthy working conditions.Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.Help maintain accurate records of daily tasks, employee performance, and any support provided.Assist in preparing reports related to farm operations and employee progress as needed.Contribute to monthly summaries and case notes to track staff and participant performance.Qualifications :
Minimum of (1) year experience working as a crew or team lead in a agriculture or horticulture environment (Preferred)Interest in or knowledge of agriculture and / or farmingKnowledge of agricultural best practices, including planting, harvesting, pest control, and irrigation techniques.Must have a valid Driver’s LicensePreferred Skills :
Passion for growing and / or farmingMinimum of (1) year experience working with adults with disabilities (Preferred)Physical Demands :
