Position Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations in a food manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal performance of production equipment while adhering to food safety standards. This role aims to enhance production efficiency and minimize downtime through effective maintenance strategies and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all maintenance activities for production equipment in the food manufacturing plant.
• You will lead a Maintenance department consisting of 5 Techs, 1 Lead, and 1 Maintenance Planner
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies including predictive maintenance and timely repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing supervision, guidance, and training to enhance their skills.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards in all maintenance operations.
• Manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to maintenance processes and equipment to enhance performance and safety.
  
  

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in maintenance management in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production equipment and maintenance practices.
• Experience with PLCs and predictive maintenance techniques preferred
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and budget management abilities.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
