The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for various projects, particularly within the machinery manufacturing and automation sectors. The role requires expertise in CAD software and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and effective product designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and create detailed design specifications and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Conduct design analysis and simulations to validate designs for stress, torque, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and timelines.
- Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for engineering projects.
- Assist in the assembly and testing of machinery to ensure design integrity and functionality.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline design processes and improve efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of automation solutions in machine design.
- Design and analyze water filtration systems, humidity control systems, steam generation components, and mechanical systems involving gears and motors.
- Prepare documentation and reports on design changes and project progress.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer, preferably in machinery manufacturing or automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor, with experience in 3D CAD.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and practices.
- Experience with design analysis, including stress and torque calculations.
- Knowledge of machine assembly processes and automation design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
