Texas Health and Human Services Commission& requires the services of& Database Administrator, who meets the general qualifications of Database Administrator.
Job Description
- TIERS project has increased demand due to Cloud Migration efforts.
- The increase in demand requires additional support with code releases in all environments, development, test, production, training and disaster recovery.
- Support is also required for improving the disaster recovery process to reduce the workload required to support Disaster Recovery.
- Duties include maintain grid and database software, performance tuning, ASM/storage management, and administrating user/db security.
- This position will support Oracle database on Oracle Exadata systems.
- This position will also provide additional support for MSSQL Server Enterprise for a critical application in TIERS and this expertise does not exist on the team.&
- The position is required to provide on weekends during a release and/or maintenance.
- The position is required to be Oncall.
- This position will also support for PSR Team including analyzing, troubleshooting, and executing data corrections production databases.
