Job description
Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Cycle Counter position is responsible for through continuous cycle counts of inventory in a timely manner while on feet. The Cycle Counter researches all data available to resolve discrepancies and adheres to proper inventory control and procedures.
Essential Duties:
- Perform physical inventory count and compare results with system data
- Research discrepancies between physical and system count
- Communicate cycle count finding to those responsible for inventory
- Adheres to the cycle counting procedures and guidelines
- Maintains count records and data files
- Investigates origin of discrepancies
- Executes daily cycle counts as instructed
- Collects daily warehouse activity data (metrics tracking)
- Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures
- Locates stock and delivers item to destination
- Maintains accurate inventory records to help facilities shortage detection
- Maintains confidentiality of inventory records to authorized personnel
- Other duties as assigned

Profile and other information related to the position
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Computer applications experience using RF Systems.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Power material handling experience preferred.
Physical Demands :
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Walking, standing, climbing stairs and/or ladders, and sitting for extended time periods
Travel: local travel between Mobile, Irvington, and Theodore sites.
