Key Responsibilities

Assist Outside Sales

Reading plans using (STACK) plan software.

Preparing a take-off from those plans.

Preparing a quote to the customer.

Obtaining quotes, spec sheet, drawing from vendors.

Learning area specs (MAG specs) for various locations.

Proficient in performing take-offs and pricing material lists from customer requirements.

Entering, processing and refining orders, communicating unit pricing, shipping details, and relevant information to customers.

Creates order, inputs data for total cost calculation using computer systems.

Organizes and files orders based on expected delivery dates.

Participates in safety and office protection planning activities.

Calculates price, discount, and shipping charges.

Promotes additional material sales to customers.

Collaborates with Dispatcher, Warehouse, and Purchasing to expedite or track missing or delayed shipments.

Pull orders, assist with walk in customers.

Directs orders to the Warehouse for fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery or shipment.

Qualifications

Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in inside sales, meeting, or exceeding sales targets.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage and persuade customers.

Customer Focus: Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize leads, follow-ups, and meet sales quotas.

Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with other team members, departments, and support functions to achieve common goals.

Bachelor's Degree (Preferred): A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred, but not required.
