What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Estimator (Commercial/Industrial) position at Darana Hybrid Inc.?
Darana Hybrid, Inc. is growing and looking to add an experienced junior estimator to our team. In this position, it will be your job to analyze the elements of an electrical project and create an accurate cost estimation for the project as a whole.
If you have experience in construction estimation and reading prints, our leadership team will work with you to coordinate these skills into electrical prints.
Some of the tasks that you’ll be responsible for include reviewing blueprints and determining the wire lengths and fixtures that a project will need. You will need to estimate the price of these elements as well as the costs of professional installation to ensure that you provide clients with as accurate of a prediction as possible.
The estimator should be experienced using estimating and job tracking software and needs to be able to do material takeoffs for quoted jobs.
This role will also require you to work directly with clients regularly and potentially provide project management requiring the estimator to be professional and capable of providing answers to the questions that clients may ask.
Candidates must be comfortable utilizing computers and/or have experience with estimation software. Our team utilizes McCormick & Procore.
Starting salary is negotiable based on experience.
