Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, demonstrating the ability to effectively maintain and repair various systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to ensure aesthetic quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Experience supervising maintenance tasks or teams is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus.
- Proficiency in using tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical work.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work, including lifting and moving equipment as necessary.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining high standards of work quality.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evenings as needed
- Holidays
- Nights as needed

- Weekends as needed
