Role

Play the essential role of providing services to members by conducting transactions accurately and finding the right solution to best fit the needs of our members while building member rapport and satisfaction.

Essential Functions

· Greet and welcome members and nonmembers in a professional, warm manner

· Meet all established service standards and create an outstanding member experience

· Provide prompt, efficient and accurate services in the processing of basic transactions, $1000-$3500 transaction limit, efforts being made to meet the 2 or less/week transaction reversal standard, all while maintaining member confidentiality

· Manage cash drawer and troubleshoot basic cash drawer differences

· Open and close branch independently

· Basic knowledge or products and services

· Actively participate in monthly campaigns

· Assist members with concerns and inquiries, by learning to ask appropriate questions

· Able to meet deadlines, make decisions and complete all required assignments and training as scheduled

· Participate in community events

· Assess appropriate fees per the fee schedule

· Comply with credit union policies and procedures

· All other duties as assigned

· Member Service: Listen and respond effectively to external members and internal questions. Demonstrate respect at all time for staff, management, and external members.

Required Education/Experience

· Up to six months of customer service experience

· High School Education or GED

Physical Requirements

Primarily perform work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10lbs. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, computer, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.

Mental and/or Emotional Requirements

Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines paired with a fast-paced work environment. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.19 - $18.99 per hour
