- Understands and upholds Chico’s Employment Guidelines, policies, standards and procedures.
- Understands and promotes Chico culture by engaging all others with a positive,enthusiastic attitude at all times. Is a role model for Chico culture, mission and vision.
- Is responsible for the management, training and supervision and of all Poolside Grille employees.
- Works a mix of opening, mid, and closing shifts.
- Is responsible for managing performance of staff in an ongoing, consistent manner. Addresses conflicts and discipline privately. Uses proper documentation.
- Plays an active role in the planning and implementation of menu items and daily specials.
- Is responsible for managing food quality, plating, presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Is responsible for monitoring job satisfaction and individual development of staff.
- Facilitate monthly huddles to include all Grille employees. Huddles to focus on product knowledge, department training, performance measures, safety issues, Chico Culture, and positive reinforcement.
- Is responsible to attend Saloon huddles and interface with Saloon Manager to coordinate food service to Saloon.
- Is responsible for managing time and productivity of staff, including structured break protocol and smoking protocol/areas.
- Attends monthly Managers Huddles, and comes prepared with required accounting figures.
- Participates in Chico’s employee onboarding framework. Ensures new employees are given the tools for success.
- Is responsible for writing weekly labor schedules using Hotel Effectiveness. Schedules to be published 2 weeks out.
- Is responsible for upholding guidelines for self and staff in regards to dress code and personal hygiene.
- Is responsible for managing food and labor costs to meet targeted goals.
- Is responsible for communicating details to staff regarding changes in menu items, or services.
- Is responsible for the cleanliness of all FOH areas.
- Is responsible for cleanliness and organization of all Poolside Grille storage areas.
- Is responsible for filing monthly inventory report (on the 1st day of each month).
- Is responsible for following Food Safety and Sanitation standards and regulations.
