Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cable Technician to join our team. As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunication systems and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair network cables and equipment
- Perform network installations, including running cables, terminating connectors, and testing connections
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to complete installations and repairs
- Work with low voltage systems to ensure proper connectivity and functionality
- Assist in computer networking tasks, such as configuring routers and switches
- Perform fiber splicing and termination as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cable Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems and equipment
- Proficiency in using hand tools for installation and repair work
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, computer networking, and fiber splicing techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
