The Lima Civil Service Board will conduct an open and competitive written examination for the following position :
CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE WORKER
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
Salary Range : Starting pay is $23.43 per hour
Job Responsibilities : Under general supervision, performs construction, maintenance and repair functions; maintains personal and professional competence and awareness.
Necessary Qualifications : The minimum acceptable qualifications for this position are :
Completion of high school education or GED and two (2) years of construction or maintenance experience. Must obtain and maintain in good standing a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with no airbrake restriction, and tanker endorsement, within 90 days of appointment.
