8500 - 2974 Strategic Account Liaison - Riggs Hospital Supplies
Come work with a growing team! DeRoyal's Riggs Hospital Supplies team has an immediate opening for a Strategic Account Liaison. The ideal candidate will work directly with strategic accounts using DME products as main point of contact. Work directly with physicians and discharge planners to configure appropriate medical devices for patient therapy, manage inventory levels and meet standardized protocols.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
Consult with clients and referral sources on relevant products and equipment.
Manage all documentation collection activities for billing of medical products for discharged patients.
Manage on-site inventory levels to ensure adequate service levels are met and patient care can be provided.
Identify and develop strategic relationships within account to enhance business performance and patient care.
Assess patient needs and promote company products/services as needed.
Communicate with medical professionals to grow wound care and durable medical equipment business.
Deliver product(s) to discharging patients/patient rooms in hospital, as needed
Communicate with patient and Homecare Technician team to schedule timely home delivery of medical products for discharging patients.
Work with sales and DME teams to troubleshoot any relevant onsite issues as they arise.
Ensure that all equipment is cleaned to standardized protocols and stored in an organized fashion.
Provide patient and employee education on DME equipment.
Communicate patient information and documentation requirements with Billing team to ensure efficient work flow.
May require on-call hours, as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2 years related experience.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to use standard office equipment (e.g. office copier, computers required). Must be able to use several computer software programs, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Brightree experience preferred.
This position requires occasional daily and overnight travel.
