What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at DESE Research, Inc.?
DESE Research is seeking all levels of Electrical Engineers to design and assess the performance of various electrical systems. The primary responsibility of this position is to work with a multi-disciplinary team supporting the development of systems for a variety of domains (ground, air and space). The qualified candidate will have experience in one or more of these focused areas: analog/digital circuits, LabView, control systems, RF theory, Special Test Equipment design and methodology, Design for Manufacturing, Electromechanical assembly
Responsibilities:
- Hardware and software components/systems Integration
- Test system requirements and verification methodologies
- Circuit board designs for engineering and operational systems
- Testing and analysis activities to assure compliance to requirements
- Test plans/procedures development and test events
- Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and resolutions
- Exhibits good communication, analytical, and organizational skills, within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Application of IEEE 315 and 315A, IEEE Std 91 and 91A, TIA-587, AIA/NAS 411, ANSI/ISO/IEC/IPC and AS9100 Standards into Design
- General understanding of incorporating Safety, Human factors into Designs
- Experience developing and operating testing infrastructure in support of developing, testing and validating Component/Circuit Board hardware
- Experience deriving test and validation requirements for Component/Circuit Board hardware
Required Qualifications:
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related technical field.
- 2 years of relevant experience
- IDE Windchill for drawing and document release
- Xpedition Designer and Layout Software
- Visio
- PSpice
- MATLAB
- Must be a US citizen.
- Active Secret clearance
