The Operations Support Program Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing a portfolio of programs within Desert Financial. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams—including technology, product management, compliance, and vendor management—to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Program Manager develops and implements program management processes, tracks and reports on program progress, and proactively identifies and resolves issues.

What you will do here: 

Program Management:

Oversee a portfolio of programs, ensuring successful delivery aligned with organizational goals.

Develop and implement program management processes, standards, and tools to streamline project execution and to ensure consistency and efficiency across all Operations Support programs.

Track program milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Manage dashboards, reports, forms, templates, page layouts workflows and approvals, create and maintain custom objects, object relationships, standard and custom fields.

Lead and facilitate program meetings, workshops, and reviews. Mentor and coach project managers and team members to ensure successful program delivery.

Ensure that program deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project scope, objectives, detailed project plans, and schedules within budget.

Work closely with technology, product management, compliance, vendor management, and other key departments to align program objectives and deliverables.

Coordinate activities across departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to resolve issues and drive project success.

Engage with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency on project progress and any potential risks.

Identify, define, and document user stories and specifications. Translate business needs into functional and efficient processes.

Build and maintain professional relationships, communicating clearly and timely to ensure delivery of an excellent experience to both the system user and Credit Union member.

Risk Management and Issue Resolution:

Identify potential risks and issues across programs, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate them.

Proactively resolve issues that may impact program delivery, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and objectives.

Performance Measurement and Improvement:

Perform and drive best practices for system administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, application customizations, queues, licenses, capacity and storage management.

Analyze program data and metrics to measure performance against objectives.

Proactively identify and initiate process improvements, document potential problems and resolutions.

Provide regular updates to senior management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and areas for improvement.

Make data-driven recommendations for process improvements and efficiency gains within program execution.

Process Development and Implementation:

Develop and implement operational processes and procedures to enhance project execution and drive operational efficiency.

Ensure that all programs adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.

Maintain knowledge of the Credit Union's departments and how they interact with one another to understand the needs of the business and collaborate in knowledge sharing activities.

What you will need:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

5 years of experience in program management, project management, or operations management, preferably within the financial services industry required.

Demonstrated experience in managing complex, cross-functional programs from inception to completion required.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making required.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to diverse audiences required.

Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines required.

Strong attention to detail required.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP) required.

Expertise with budget management and financial reporting required.

Knowledge of Industry best practices and trends required.

PMP – Project Manager - PMP, PgMP, or similar project/program management certification preferred.

Onbase System Administrator preferred.

Docusign eSignature Administrator preferred.
