What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level - Façade Architect - Medellin, Colombia position at DeSimone Consulting Engineers?
DeSimone is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Facades practice.
All Entry Level positions will require the following MINIMUM qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
- Practical experience through internship or similar study, with a variety of systems and materials,
including drawings and diagrams
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Competency in statics / structural analysis
• Competency in thermal analysis
• Knowledge of glass products and glass processing preferred.
• Knowledge of aluminum processing and fabrication.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Rhino software, Inventor and Revit
• Knowledge of LBNL-Therm, LBNL-Window, Revit software preferred
• Ability to work successfully in a collaborative team-oriented environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Ability to seek and nurture client relationships - English is a requirement for this position, please submit your application and resume in English.

For this particular position, we expect to hire near the middle of the range. To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates with at least 0-1 years of experience in the industry, a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, Masters Degree is preferred.
We understand that there may be rare and exceptional circumstances where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position. In these cases, we may consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
