Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating transportation and logistics activities to ensure prompt deliveries.
Duties
- Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and dispatch drivers
- Analyze delivery information and prioritize routes efficiently
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor fleet management activities and address any issues promptly
Experience
- Experience in logistics or transportation management
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and fleet management systems
- Proficiency in using software such as SyteLine, Oracle Transportation Management
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
