Position Overview:
The Mid to Senior Level IT Recruiter will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of IT professionals, including technical roles such as software engineers, developers, system administrators, and IT support personnel. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external candidates.
*this position is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite in our Tampa, FL office and 2 days of remote work.*
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment for a range of IT positions, from initial intake and sourcing to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to attract top IT talent.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and create effective recruitment strategies.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial candidate screenings, technical assessments, and behavioral interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining timely communication, transparency, and a smooth hiring process.
- Data & Reporting: Track and report key recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source-of-hire, to continuously improve the recruitment process.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices to provide strategic insights to the hiring team.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company’s brand and culture to attract high-quality IT candidates.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of experience in IT recruitment, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and technical skill sets (e.g., software development, system administration, DevOps, cybersecurity, etc.).
- Sourcing Expertise: Proven experience using sourcing tools and techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, ATS systems) to identify and engage top talent.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Hybrid Flexibility: Willingness to work on-site 3 days a week in Tampa, FL, with 2 days remote flexibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for niche IT roles such as cloud engineers, DevOps specialists, and cybersecurity analysts.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Familiarity with salary negotiation and offer management.
