Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Intern will report to the Procurement Manager. This internship will allow the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various facets of supply chain management while contributing to impactful projects that drive our Company's success.
Additionally, you will collaborate with our supply chain team to assist with tasks like receiving, vendor management, and invoicing, getting hands-on experience in a real-world setting. Learn from experienced mentors about inventory management and suggest ways to improve accuracy, contributing directly to our operations. Your ideas will be crucial as we solve challenges and find budget-friendly solutions.
A key project will be to assist with centralizing spare parts to kick off summer consumables with our warehouse team that supports our global fleet.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-departmental functions, such as our Accounts Payable team, as we explore options to digitalize our vendor approval process.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Ability to analyze issues, identify key factors, and develop innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
