Regional Branch Managers are directly responsible for the staffing, culture, and overall performance of the branches they manage, including but not limited to building customer loyalty. This position's daily activities center around 5 primary areas of focus: Sales Performance, Team Leadership, Customer Service, Relationship Management and Reporting
- Sales Performance:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve branch targets and revenue goals.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Provide coaching and guidance to branch sales teams to enhance their performance.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop branch staff to build a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Visit each branch a minimum of once per month for team development and coaching.
- Customer Service:
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional customer service across all branches.
- Address customer concerns, inquiries, and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Relationship Management:
- Cultivate relationships with existing and potential clients, local businesses, and community organizations to promote the bank's services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and monitor regular reports on branch performance, sales achievements, budget and operational metrics.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges and propose strategies for improvement.
Essential Duties:
- Work with Retail Banking Managers to staff all retail functions within the branches being managed
- Ensure proper training, cross training, coaching, counseling, feedback, recognition, and leadership are provided to retail staff
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to build loyalty and capacity of the branch staff to ensure that all business development and customer experience efforts are successful
- Manage retail staff performance and ensuring individual and branch goals are met
- Demonstrate the ability to independently make and communicate sound decisions based upon bank policies, knowledge, and experience
- Collaborate with the other departments to ensure that expectations and goals are achieved in areas of finance, marketing, and operations.
- Attend and conduct monthly team meetings and ensure that team meetings and individual check-ins are conducted at each branch.
- Promote the optimum Customer Experience. Also, provide exceptional customer care in an expedient manner that satisfies individual needs of each customer and builds loyalty to Dieterich Bank
- Maintain a well-developed working knowledge of the complete line of products and services offered by the Bank throughout the branches and take responsibility to stay up to date on these.
- Partner with the VP of Retail to ensure all branch efforts are aligned with the strategic direction of Dieterich Bank
- Verify safety and security of branch locations.
- Conduct all performance reviews of retail branch managers that include individual development plans.
- Promote Dieterich Bank within the community.
- This position requires regular travel.
- Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for supervising and managing Retail Banking Managers at multiple branch locations. The Regional Branch Manager should split time between branches to ensure time is being spent at each branch they manage.
Work Schedule:
This position requires 40 hours each week with a various schedule based on the hours of the branch. This position will require regular travel between branches that are being managed.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field or equivalent experience
- 3 years of banking experience preferred
- 5 years of successful leadership or management experience preferred
Work Environment:
This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
