As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Toast POS.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Provide excellent customer service in both nightclub and fine dining settings.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and drink measurements.
- Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Toast POS is a plus.
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail math is advantageous.
- Strong sales skills to promote drinks and specials effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments typical of nightclubs or restaurants.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and mixology techniques is preferred.
