POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
**Location: This will be a hybrid position with 2-3 days per week in our Dew, TX field office. ** SCADA IOC Analyst works with the IOC team to develop SCADA tools to support the operations of a defined set of assets against an agreed operational plan. The SCADA IOC Analyst will be responsible for gathering user requirements, developing technical solutions that work within the existing standards-based Cygnet systems when possible and advocating for extending the standards where needed. The tools developed will be focused on adding business value either thru optimization, downtime avoidance, automated dispatch, leak detect and other such higher level Scada functions. You will work closely with other Scada teams to develop and document standards where needed and deliver robust, supportable products. You will work with upstream, midstream and some downstream facilities. Special focus will be placed on: Design, program, construct, modify, and provide ongoing operational support for company SCADA systems. Utilize VB and other programming skills to develop applications and modifications for Cygnet Systems Develop and support alarming tools and visual aids for field personnel and Control Centers. Oversee the data collection in Cygnet to verify and maintain the SCADA data integrity. Work with various departments to provide data reports from SCADA systems. Support DEC’s IOC team Document and support SCADA standards Participate in on-call support rotation. Any other job-related duty as deemed appropriate by management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Associate degree in Information Technology/Systems, EE or equivalent preferred. Bachelor’s Degree preferred 4 years’ experience in oil/gas Cygnet SCADA, in an IOC supporting role Proficient in Microsoft software with advanced computer skills (programming, database, networks) Strong technical knowledge of Cygnet software Experience supporting IOC or control room Operations Technical knowledge of database systems, including SQL queries & report building Programming experience in VB, C# or similar Familiarity with electronic meters and various remote monitoring devices Familiarity with communication protocols, radios, and networking Strong customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills.
