What We're Looking For
The Division of University Advancement is seeking a skilled data/business analyst to join the Advancement Services team, focusing on both reporting and analytics. Advancement Services plays a key role within University Advancement, supporting constituent database and technology services, prospect management, research and pipeline development, data analytics, gift and pledge management, records and document management, and reporting. This analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders, including annual fund, events, stewardship, major gift fundraising teams, academic units, and senior leadership to extract and analyze meaningful data that enhances communication, stewardship, and strategic decision-making.
A bachelor's degree and less than one year of relevant work experience are required. Three years of experience is preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.
A hybrid work arrangement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
- Support Advancement efforts by generating, analyzing, and validating ad hoc data requests, including alumni and donor data, event and stewardship lists, annual giving, alumni engagement, and other specialized needs.
- Assist academic units and departments by generating, analyzing, and verifying ad hoc data requests, including alumni and donor email lists, mailing lists, event lists, and other specialized needs.
- Create, analyze and validate direct marketing efforts (DME's) in order to support annual giving initiatives.
- Continually review and identify best practices, trends and methodologies in analytics related to prospect management, pipeline develop and prospect identification to implement new and innovative approaches to prospect research and management.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
