- Collaborate with district and community partners to develop a regional vision for sustainable systems improvement, reducing academic disparities, and enhancing student outcomes.
- Coordinate district strategic planning efforts, compile collective plans, and track progress on strategic goals, grants, and community engagement initiatives.
- Provide technical assistance and access to promising practices and relevant research for continuous improvement of district systems and operations.
- Develop and implement grants management tools, establish reporting timelines, and ensure timely submission of information.
- Coordinate with Data Supervisors and other team members to ensure the collection of required evaluation data for grant and program reporting.
- Prepare clear and concise reports for a variety of audiences, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as FERPA and state-specific data privacy laws.
- Convene and facilitate meetings with district colleagues, community partners, and other constituents to support program implementation and knowledge exchange.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration across districts, leveraging resources to enhance program effectiveness and coherence.
- Utilize data analysis to inform program adjustments and provide up-to-date information for internal and external reporting.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential records as required by law and district policy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in program development, grant management, and/or project coordination.
- A strong understanding of public-school systems and continuous improvement processes is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in data collection, analysis, and the use of reporting platforms is required (i.e., SmartSheets).

Douglas ESD is accepting applications for the position of Systems Improvement and Grants Associate. This position works 230 days per year, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, to begin immediately.

STARTING SALARY: $31.70 - $40.86 per hour (Placement is dependent on relevant verifiable experience)
JOB SUMMARY: This position supports Douglas ESD's Education Services Department, focusing on enhancing district and school systems through strategic coordination of funding, grant management, and long-term planning support. The position involves consulting with districts, assisting in program implementation, and aligning efforts across the region to improve student outcomes.
